Thank You Jesus, for a wonderful year. With all the joy & grace, the mercy & love, the correction & discipline, the struggles & victories. Thank You for choosing me out of this world & making me Your own....Thank You Yahweh--for giving me another year & for loving me anyway!!!

Thank You for reaching down from on high and pulling me out of the mirey pit! If I had never met You, I don't know where I would be today--and that is just alright with me! To You is all glory, honor & praise. I love You Jesus!

Meditations

Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for Him."

Lamentations 3:21-24

Sometimes I find myself in a panic. Especially if something has gone wrong in my eyes or not gone as I had planned {don't you know I am in control?}....Or I am thinking of some sin in the past & allow it to bring me down---knowing that they have all been erased that they are gone, thrown into the sea of forgetfulness.....Today I came across this Scripture and it had me thinking of the way we all beat ourselves up over sin---or panic or have anxiety over situations either out of our control {which really, everything is} or something we had not "planned"---yet He promises us ---you will not be overcome by the day--nothing will eat you up--you can face the day---you can move on---He is compassionate, loving, merciful, giving, gracious, forgiving---He is our Daddy, our Abba Daddy....rejoice knowing His mercy is new EVERY morning!!

Meditate on that Scripture above......He loves us....and He is always, always, always, with us.......

I always want to fix it myself or get it done in a hurry...and He says "Wait on Me"---we need to be waiting on Him, for Him, trust Him. He has wonderful plans for us...wonderful...and I need to learn this myself....because I am a "self-doer" and very independent, I don't want anybody doing anything for me.....yet He says, "Wait for Me, Lill, wait for Me"

Let's just wait.
